All Electric dryers and Electric Ranges are sold without power cords. The reason for this is the government added a new safety code in the 1980's making the 220 line grounded at the outlet. Older homes have 3 prong outlets ... newer homes have 4 prong outlets. Just count the holes of the outlet. You can go to any home improvement store and purchase the proper cord according to your outlet. It's very simple to change a cord but is crucial you hook the proper wires to the correct pins on the unit! *Note Range and Dryer cords are different although they look very similar! Just go buy a new cord!
