Hello PburgBob. The supplied Optical Cable (Toslink cable) for the LG Soundbar with the Wireless Subwoofer, Model # LAS551H, may look flimsy, but it is quite adequate for what is needs to do, especially given it's length. It really isn't going to make that much more of a difference for what you're connecting with it but if you feel more comfortable getting something a little more robust, that's fine...^IFV
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.All of the optical cables I have ever seen/used (that come with components) seem to be fairly flimsy. The connectors snap into place securely, and once you have it connected, there is no real strain placed on the optical cable, so I would just go ahead and use the one provided. Buy a different one if the provided one fails in the future.
