- Answer It is both. The door opens either way. I spent the first couple weeks of owning it thinking that it was only a hamper style. I was quite pleased once I realized it opened either way Lol.

QuestionDoes DLEY1901KE have a "PGM" (program) button? LG says it is programmable, but previous non-WIFI model (1701) has a button labeled PGM. this button on 1901 is labeled *Remote Start", and below it says: *Extra Function: Hold 3 sec. Is this PGM button?

Certain option buttons also feature a special function that can be activated by pressing and holding that option button for 3 seconds. It has Custom Program, PGM Save features. Ultra Large Capacity Front Control Electric Dryer with EasyLoad™ Door, Model # DLEY1901KE does not come with either a 30-amp, 240 volt, 4-wire, UL listed power cord with #10 AWG-minimum copper conductor and closed loop or forked terminals with upturned ends nor a 30-amp, 240-volt, 3-wire, UL-listed power cord with #10 AWG-minimum copper conductor and closed loop or forked terminals with upturned ends. Those have to be purchased separately. ^CP

- Answer Yes. FYI> The issued/LG dryer hook up hose was too short and I had to order a 15 ft. hose. After almost giving up on my search, I found a company located in California (sells up to 200 ft. hoses) and ordered a BEAUTIFUL woven stainless steel hose $79. QuestionWhat is the difference between this DLEY1901WE dryer and the DLEY1701 W? Specifically the STEAM producing mechanism? I have a 1701 with NO STEAM GENERATOR. It only SPRINKLES clothing...............It does not produce steam, does not remove wrinkles.

- Answer I think the main difference is that the 1701 is a front loader and the 1901 is a top loader. The 1901 is also a bit deeper.
