The washer senses the load and adds the proper amount of water. I'm not sure why you would want to increase the amount of water. The washer is very efficient.

There are specific instructions on how this can be done in the owner's manual on page 26. Try this link...http://www.lg.com/us/support-product/lg-WM3250HVA# and then download the user manual or if you do not want to download it, visit the Home Depot site and navigate to the washer dryer page, select LG washers and on the second page of the LG selections, scroll halfway down to find the model, click on that and the then click on use and care manual and that will bring the manual up for you to read the instructions on how to add water during those cycles...
