“I purchased a competing product (Sony) and it would do everything to my liking EXCEPT stream a youtube movie that I paid for. Out of the box this shouldn't be not when my old Blu Ray player does it fine. What does this player do? Everything I hope.”

I recently bought a Sony Blu Ray player and for some DVD's the selection pointer for the menus would not appear and so I could not watch any programs on them. It was replaced with LG unit and since then I have not had any problems, but I do not stream via the unit.

Please try again later.I purchased this player fairly recently and haven’t figured out all the ins and outs yet, but this player definitely has the option of streaming from certain apps like YouTube and Netflix, although it’s not like my Smart TV or Apple TV that has countless options. But it should work for what you want to do.
