It doesn't completely work with my 2007 TV that only supports 1080i, not 1080p. The Netflix app forces 1080p and crashes. YouTube app and DVD/Blu-ray playback seem fine, but there are no other apps available.

The LG Streaming 4K Ultra HD Hi-Res Audio Wi-Fi Built-In Blu-ray Disc™ Player with Dolby Vision® - Black, Model # UBK90 has an HDMI® 2.0a Output an HDMI® 1.4 Output and an Optical Digital Audio Output for connectivity. The HDMI® 2.0a is labeled as HDMI 1 Out To TV and can be connected to an HDMI Input on a TV and the HDMI® 1.4 Output is labeled HDMI2 AUDIO ONLY and can be connected to The HDMI In on an external receiver or you can use the Optical Digital Audio Out on the player to connect to the corresponding in jack on an amplifier. You can then access the settings in the UBK90 to select the resolution best suited to your connected TV. (i.e. 720p, 1080i, or 1080p). If your TV provides display information (EDID), when it is connected to the HDMI 1 To TV port and it is set to Auto, it will automatically select the resolution best suited to your TV. If you are not sure about this, contact your TV's manufacturer for more advice or check your owner's manual...^IFV
