4k uhd players do not decode Dolby Atmos or DTS X. The player, when at to bitstream audio will send the signs to your home theater receiver. The receiver then converts it to ATMOS or DTS x. Now, the real question is, does your audio receiver or audio source decode Dolby Atmos and DTS X?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.LG new 2018 4k player gives you dolby vision, 3d, upscaling and HDR. Dolby atmos doesn't come from any player. Atmos comes from an A/V receiver and speakers. The speakers can be in ceiling or put above your listening area. The player just bitstreams the audio. I just picked up the UBK90 and it works great.
