• I recently had a similar problem and my experience may help. In my case my TV would all of a sudden display no signal and my receiver would shut off. It turned out that my Apple TV was going into sleep mode after a set interval. Even though it was not the current signal source it managed to reak havoc. Look for a device that has a sleep mode and either extend its duration (I set mine to 10 hours) or shut the sleep mode off, as appropriate.
