• The player offers slow motion. While the playback is paused, press fast forward arrow repeatedly to play various speeds of slow motion. For frame advance press PAUSE repeatedly to play Frame-by-Frame. ^Daphane

• I don't believe so. The remote has a chapter advance and a forward advance where you can change the speed of the advance but not as fine as frame by frame.
