“I've had this since March of 2021. Today July 3rd 2022 it no longer turns on so therfore it is dead. Is there a way to reset it? Or does anyone know if LG will repair/replace since it is (of course) out of warranty? It's plugged into a surge protector”

Are you using your controller to try turning it on? Try unplugging it from where it is plugged in and plugging it back in. Maybe the batteries are dead in the controller. Try using the button on the player.
