QuestionHi, why this model UBK90 that I owned cant play UHD movies with mkv 2.64 & 2.65 files format from HDD external drive? I have no issues playing these movies on my LG 82UM7600 tv. Regards

- Answer On page 48 in the appendix of the owner's manual for the LG 4K Ultra-HD Blu-ray Disc™ Player with Dolby Vision®, Model # UBK90 is a listing of file extensions and codec formats that this unit can play. The "mkv" file extension and H.264 codec are listed. The H.265 codec is not listed. Please contact our Customer Support Center at (800) 243-0000 if you need firther assistance...^IFV

QuestionI just purchased one of the lg ubk90 blue ray players intending to use the HDMI sound only port 2 with an HDMI to RCA cable. I changed the sound output to HDMI 2 sound only and I get no sound. Is there a special adapter or cable I need to do this?

- Answer You can get an adapter to change hdmi to RCA. THE HDMI TO RCA CABLE DOES NOT WORK. It’s a different signal to noise ratio.

- Answer No, a soundbar cannot connect wirelessly to the Blu-ray player. It may be able to connect wirelessly to your TV if your TV supports Bluetooth. ^CP

- Answer There isn't. The only apps on it are Youtube and Netflix and there's no way to add more.

- Answer This player can play video, audio and photo files contained in the disc or USB device. This player supports USB flash drive/external HDD formatted in FAT32 and NTFS when accessing files (music, photo, movie). However, for BD-Live, use the USB flash drive / external HDD formatted in FAT32. This unit can support up to 4 partitions of the USB device. A USB device which requires additional program installation when you have connected it to a computer, is not supported. If you use a USB extension cable, USB HUB or USB Multi-reader, the USB device may not be recognized. - Answer The LG 4K Ultra-HD Blu-ray Disc™ Player with Dolby Vision®, Model # UBK90 that is sold in the U.S. is not region free, however, the good news is that when it comes to regional restrictions, 4K Blu-ray discs have just one region code: worldwide. Essentially, they are region free. For some reason, manufacturers have decided not to code 4k discs by region. In other words, if you have a 4k movie title, it should play in any 4k player, regardless of what country the disc came from. However, this is only true for 4k discs. It will not play standard Blu-ray or DVD discs from any region...^IFV

- Answer I believe that it is strictly 110V, however it does not state in the literature that comes with it anything about 220 - 240 volt. The cord & plug is 110V.
