• No. This defaults to Region 1, but you can change the region. The manual doesn't say how many times you can change the region, so maybe you can work around it. Don't buy this if you want to use it for streaming though.

• This unit has a regional code printed on the rear of the unit. This unit can play only BD-ROM or DVD discs labelled same as the rear of the unit or “ALL”. ^CP
