“Swapped out my old CD/DVD player for the new LG model. There were no outputs on the new unit for the audio to connect to my receiver/speakers. The DVD plays, but I've got no sound. What am I doing wrong?”

• I would hook the speakers directly to the TV. The HDMI cable should transport the audio to the TV. Then the TV audio should process out to the speakers.
