Can it be connected with RCA cables? null

No. I was disappointed as you are limited to a single HDMI output. My TV was older , had a HDMI input , but was not compatible with the DVR HDMI output.....not sure why. My original DVR, which went caput and was a more expensive unit, had been hooked up with with the RCA cables. I might have had the same issue with the HDMI input on the TV but it was to long ago to remember. Rather than send the 195 back , I hooked it to another tv using the HDMI to HDMI and it worked fine. Hope this helps.
