Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.All we use it for is watching movies as well and there have been no issues. We didn't even connect it to the internet just HDMI to the TV. Our TY streams our Netflix and Hulu accounts and there have been no issues with the disc drive and nor any type of conflict.
