A:AnswerPlayable Discs include Blu-ray, DVD-ROM, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD-RW (VR), Audio CD and CD-R/RW. If you record a disc using a personal computer, even if it is recorded in a compatible format, there are cases in which it may not play because of the settings of the application software used to create the disc. ^Daphane

A:AnswerI doubt it. The only output available other than HDMI is the USB. So unless your surround sound works with USB it won't work. I have my surround sound directly connected to the TV using its optical cable.
A:AnswerThe only way that you would be able to use it without changing the input would be if the TV identifies the connected device and automatically changes inputs. ^Daphane

A:AnswerNo this only plays region 1 DVDs, all so far. It's also very picky on what blu-ray discs it wants to read. I haven't really figured out why it won't read certain ones. It'll read some, not all, of what I've burned myself and it'll read some, again not all, new ones from the same region. Pain in the butt really
A:AnswerThere are 6 different preloaded apps on this player. Unfortunately you cannot download any other apps onto the player. Twitch is NOT one of the preloaded apps.
