I've noticed That the the left ear goes out on the blue set and the right ear goes out on the Orange. I don't really believe it's factory defect exactly just because since people are right handed and stone are left handed so it may also have something small to do with it, but the speakers are connected by a thin wire still, and when they retract they most likely twist up doing so.
