I hope you bought the 2 yr plan.... you may have a defective one. It shouldn't do that at all. if you have the plan and have this problem.. return and get a new one.

Please try again later.husband got one when they first came out and still has it and has used it constantly. just now kind of wearing out as in he has broken the clips that hold the wires and just general wear. has lasted longer than any of the newer ones i have bought and had to take back numerous times due to the speakers going out, which i believe is due to pulling them in and out which you do not do on these. great product and lasts a long time, would recommend to anyone.
