“I work construction and I have an old pair of ultras and people can't hear the noise around me when I talk. I just purchased pro's then the new ultras and they both pick up the noise around me and people can't understand me. Are these any better?”

• Yes I had those versions as well. Seems like the ear bud pieces cancel out the outside background much better. I go to the gym and they sometimes pump loud music, can't hear anything from the outside while these are on. But it also depends on the volume you put them to.

• Sorry to say they look good but are not very good at noise reduction. I'm still looking for something to keep out my boyfriend's snoring.

• Yes they are I can even use them on my Harley with no helmet and they can't even tell I'm riding.
