Does your home phone have voice control? I think it mainly works with cell phones due to voice control ( Siri) capability

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not a Best Buy employee nor do I told a degree of any kind in computer science or any technology.. However, I do consider myself to be above average "tech savvy" as I have taken a sincere interest in it in my early forties. Okay, so when I read your question I'm a bit confused because from my own personal experience with Bluetooth products, they all pair up the same way and function the same way. There really are no true complications when it comes to pairing up and listening to either music or to a person via a smart/cell phone. The only initial temporary issues I've ever encountered thus far is when it takes several attempts at pairing up. I've never personally had issues with anything like not receiving any music and/or voice from calls. All I can think of suggesting for now is this: you should try unpairing the 2 products then turn off the power sources from both for a solid 1 minute, turn power sources back on & then pair up again. If this fails, I suggest you either call LG for assistance and/or go to their website and search your model # 's online manual and/or help library/resources. If that doesn't resolve anything, then it's time to look at the Bluetooth home phone's manufacturer contact info and/or website for assistance. Good luck with your issue.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You may have a home phone with Bluetooth, but on smartphones they have an option when connected via Bluetooth to be on the media or phone. I suspect because you are trying to connect Bluetooth via home phone that the Bluetooth automatically recognizes just the media part of the Bluetooth on the phone which disables you to make calls from phone.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The voice command may not work with a home phone because it uses the vice command features from the phone. But if your phone is Bluetooth capable then you should be able too talk and hear your caller. Just start and end the call from the phone and then talk through headset.
