I can roam all around my gymnastics gym area and stay connected to the LG's when my iphone 6 is in the office. I can at least roam 50-60 feet with wood walls between me and the phone. I also was able to go upstairs in my house with the phone downstairs and stay connected within reason.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I get no static nor do I have any problems hearing with this model paired to my iphone 5s and my ipad2. Battery life is better and the range is pretty good. I've walked away from my phone and forgotten about it!

I get no static with my phone in my cargo pocket, coat pocket or if I leave it in my truck. Clearest sounding headset I've ever owned - I've owned ear buds made by Motorola, Plantronics and Jabra.

Although the LG - Tone Pro Bluetooth Headset, Model # HBS-750 use Bluetooth version 3.0, the range for Bluetooth transmissions s till about 30 meters. That is the full range of Bluetooth regardless of the device using that technology! Bluetooth is also very prone to other gadgets that use the same frequency and may cause interference with the headset. Power transmissions, electrical conduits in your walls, your cell phone, microwave oven etc., can all affect your signal and manifest themselves as either static or a choppy sound...IFV
