“Is the pedestal necessary? Can the machines be easily used without it?”

• No they are not necessary. However they do bring up the washer and dryer so you don't have to bend over as much when loading or unloading. We didn't purchase them because we have cabinets above them and we fold clothes on top of them. With the pedestals we wouldn't have enough room to fold clothes on top.

• Using a pedestal is up to the consumer. Pedestals add height to the unit and storage. ^CP

• Yes by all means, I got it more for the looks and because it’s higher. I also priced matched all around and Best Buy gave me the best deal!

• The machines can be used without the pedestals, but it is recommended that the be used with the matching pedestals.
