QuestionDo I need to buy high efficiency detergent just for this washer?

- Answer The salesperson told us "yes". I was concerned but then realized my regular detergent already is "he- high efficiency". I suspect that most of the big name brands are. Just look on your detergent container that you already use and see if it has the "he" symbol on it. You'll be fine then.

QuestionCan this wash a king cal thick blanket??

- Answer Generally speaking, 4 cubic feet is enough to wash 12-16 pounds of laundry. A larger capacity unit at 4.5 cubic feet can hold up to 20 pounds of laundry. A general rule of thumb is a queen size comforter can fit into 3.5 cubic feet and a king size comforter fit into a 3.8 cubic feet machine. ^CP

QuestionWhat is the noise level on this? We currently have an old Frigidaire gallery (that we inherited) and the washer sounds like a train coming through while the dryer is loud enough to justify my husband raising the volume to LOUD on the TV. Thanks!

- Answer The noise level is not bad. I actually think it has a pretty low level of noise. I only hear it when I am in the next room with the door open. I don't have to turn up the volume on the television to hear it. The washer we had before was a Kenmore front loading machine (that I never thought was loud) yet this machine is quieter. Don't get me wrong, it isn't silent, just a muffled sound.

- Answer My Tromm WM2277HW is now 13 yrs old and there's never been any smell. Reason: Leave the door open for a few hours after washing so that the rubber seal and other parts dry. The mold smell is always the result of closing the door when the seal and inside is wet.

- Answer The Steam Option on this ENERGY STAR® LG 4.5 cu. ft. Ultra Large Capacity TurboWash® Washer, Model # WM3770HWA is available for the Tub Clean, Allergiene™, Sanitary, Bright Whites™, Bulky/Large, Cotton/Normal, and Heavy Duty cycles in this machine. Selecting the Allergiene™ cycle automatically incorporates steam into the wash cycle. The Steam option can be selected using the cycle modifier buttons on the machine. After you select your desired wash cycle, pressing the STEAM/Fresh Care button will automatically adjust the cycle settings and add the steam option. These instructions can be found on page 26 of the owner's manual...^IFV

- Answer Yes, you can push the button to stop the cycle to add another item however I only had an experience to do it in the beginning of the washing cycle so I do not know if its possible to do in the middle of it. Hope it helps. Good luck !!!!

QuestionI just had my washer delivered, but I can only see the cycle time in 3 cycles...when I change to other cycles , the cycle time doesnt come up on the control panel. I only see 3 dashes....does anyone have this same problem

- Answer Handles smaller loads perfectly, as it “weighs “ your loads and only fills as much water as needed. Gentle cycle works great, but regular is gentle enough. A small load will be extremely quick, too!

- Answer We have this unit and we have it stacked. The stacking kit for the set is one of the best designs available. The other manufacturers only hold the back feet, this one secured the front and rear. The stacking kit was the selling point for us.

- Answer As long as your counter top is high enough to clear the top of the washer and dryer you should be good to go. Also consider the pedestal height too if you're getting them. No venting clearance is required.

QuestionI’m placing this unit with matching dryer in laundry closet with doors that close. With doors closed depth of closet is 36 1/2 in (rear of door to rear wall) 35 3/4 in (rear of door to rear wall floor molding). Enough room for closet doors to close?
