I, personally, wouldn't put the washer on a pedestal that isn't made for the specific washer since the pedestals have been designed for the models they're recommended for based on where the 'feet' need to be placed on the top of the pedestal to connect them securely and keep the washer level. My guess is that *if* you do put it on a pedestal not made for the washer and something happens, it would invalidate your warranties.
