“I love the "4 screen capability". Do I have to open a new window, and then shrink it down and drag it to a quadrant, or can I just click on an icon on the task bar, and have it open straight up in one of the quadrants?”

Windows 10 allows users to be able to drag a window to a corner to automatically adjust itself to the proper size to occupy that quarter of screen space.

With the On Screen Control software download you can select from it from the taskbar to split the screen into 4 quadrants.
