Yes it has speakers. I had to order mine for store pickup. They are not normally carried in stock.

If you use this as the display screen for a home-entertainment system, you might consider getting a dedicated sound bar for the best experience. Re: Can I pick it up in a store? When I went to buy mine (in December 2021) they were available in-store. I'm not a Best Buy employee, but as a customer it seems they have worked hard to create a bunch of options for us to pick items up in a store or have them shipped to our homes / place of business. By the way, I have bought TWO of these monitors (one for the office-office and one for the home-office) as I think they're great!
