“Can I still use a 144hz display if I use HDMI cable instead of DP cable?”

• These other answers are simply not true. This monitor does do 1440p 144hz over HDMi. Those other numbers are with Freesync on but if you disable Freesync you get the full 1440p 144hz over HDMI.

• The max hz you get using a HDMI cable is 100hz.

• @1920x1080p you can get 120htz over HDMI, at higher resolutions it caps @60htz over HDMI.
