“My Macbook pro 15.4" (2016 Model) is identifying this screen as 31.5 not 27 which causing the scaling to be off. Is this common with LG monitors or is there something wrong with the unit I got? I tried my Mac with other TVs and monitors and it works fine.”

• Regrettably, we are not aware of any reports about the LG 27'' UltraGear™ QHD Nano IPS 1ms 144Hz G-SYNC Compatible Gaming Monitor, Model # 27GN850-B being identified as a 31.5" screen when used with a MacBook Pro 15.4" nor that a common issue with LG Monitors. It may be that your MacBook Pro does not support 2560 x 1440 & you might have to create a custom resolution. Please contact our Support Center at (800) 243-0000 for assistance...^IFV
