“The monitor can go to 120hz at 1440p, I have used it that way on my Xbox series x. Now when I plug it into my gaming laptop that outputs 165hz I only am able to choose 60hz in the options for the monitor, Is there any solution to this?”

You may have to go into the settings on the monitor itself and make sure it is set to make refresh rate. If that does don’t work make sure you have a hdmi or display cable capable of 165hz.
