Hello there, Dano. Thank you for your question about the LG UltraGear 27" QHD 240Hz Gaming Monitor, model 27GR83Q-B. We understand your inquiry and are happy to assist! To fully enable HDR on your Xbox Series X with this monitor, there are a few steps to ensure both devices communicate HDR properly: Use a high-speed HDMI 2.0 or higher cable and connect it to one of the monitor’s HDMI ports. On your Xbox, go to Settings > General > TV & display options, then select 4K TV details to confirm HDR is supported. Make sure "Allow HDR" is enabled in Xbox Settings > Video modes. On the monitor itself, press the joystick button under the center of the screen, go to Menu > Game Adjust > HDR, and confirm that HDR is set to "ON". Note: HDR content will only activate when an HDR-compatible game or app is running. In other modes (like the FPS counter or home screen), it may still show as “HDR OFF” until active content triggers it. If it still doesn’t display HDR as active, please try switching the HDMI port or using the DisplayPort connection from a PC that supports HDR to test further. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/lg-ultragear-27-qhd-240hz-1ms-nvidia-g-sync-compatible-and-amd-freesync-premium-with-displayhdr-400-black/6555703.p?skuId=6555703 For more help, feel free to send us a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport.
