Hello there. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We understand your inquiry regarding the LG UltraGear 32GP83B monitor. To answer your question, this monitor can be connected to MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models. You can use either the HDMI or DisplayPort connections; however, since MacBooks typically use USB-C (Thunderbolt), you will need a USB-C to HDMI or USB-C to DisplayPort cable or adapter. It is not required to use the DP port, but it is often recommended for the highest refresh rates. https://www.bestbuy.com/product/lg-ultragear-32-led-qhd-5-ms-amd-freesync-premium-with-hdr-10-displayport-hdmi-black/JJ8VPZS3LS For further assistance and any specific concerns you may have, please contact us on [email protected]. —Renzo
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It has both HDMI and DisplayPort so you can use an adapter for either one of those to make it display but you won't be able to playback at 165hz with a Macbook I believe because of GPU limitations. I would recommend a 1440p monitor at 60hz for that.
