“The website pics say DP 2.1 but I've read this is only 1.4. Which is it? And if I want to get the fastest speeds when gaming, is DP 1.4 faster than hdmi 2.1? My video card has DP and hdmi connections, but I've always read DP is faster. What's recommended”

The eighth thumbnail image for the LG UltraGear™ 45" OLED QHD 240Hz 0.03ms G-Sync/FreeSync™ Premium Pro Smart Gaming Monitor with DisplayHDR™ 400 TRUE - Black Model # 45GX90SA-B, showing DP 2.1 is incorrect. The DisplayPort for the monitor is DP ver. 1.4, as shown in the fourth thumbnail image and under Display Connector(s) in the specifications (click on See All Specifications). DisplayPort 1.4 is not faster than HDMI 2.1. HDMI 2.1 provides higher raw bandwidth (48 Gbps) compared to DisplayPort 1.4 (32.4 Gbps). However, DisplayPort 1.4 uses compression to support high refresh rates, making both great choices depending on your hardware...^Ivan.
