QuestionDo I need 18gbps or 22gbps to get the best picture quality & to upscale/convert dvds & regular blu rays? I'm using this on a Sony 85 inch 4k. I was going to go with the Sony 4k players but I heard they freeze too much & LG has the best & easiest 4k player

- Answer A 22gbps HDMI cable is better than an 18 gbps in terms of performance. Either one will serve great as long as the cable specifies it supports 4k. ^CP

QuestionI just purchased this item yesterday. Got it hooked up and ABSOLUTELY NOTHING IS HAPPENING, other then the power comes on. I AM REALLY FRUSTRATED. Of course no manual. OK. So what's the secret?

QuestionIs there a way to have this unit automatically go back to regular TV viewing? Each time I have to use my television remote control to manually select my cable source. My old Samsung Blu-Ray player would always go to my TV source after turning it off.

Questionon most discs this player will pickup the DTS soundtrack, but on some it won't... why is that... i have to go in settings and choose DTS in order for it to work...

- Answer I would check the original sound format, maybe the Ultra 4K discs default to DTS? Check your sound bar settings and if your sound bar is ran with an ootic cable from your tv, check your tv audio settings too. I hope this helps.

- Answer make sure that your hdmi cord is optimized for 4k. I had a similar program trying to play an advanced copy of batman vs superman. I changed the cable to 4k and everything started working. good luck.
