A:AnswerIt will play well just use surround sound from your receiver and it will output nicely to your player I have an onkyo and it plays fantastic the player is awesome and the sound thru my receiver is incredible
A:AnswerYes, you can have it power up and down with the TV. You can even play the DVDs using the LG TV remote. If no DVD is being played it will turn itself off in 15 minutes.
A:AnswerDid you try changing the caption on your TV? Not sure if it will work but sometimes I try to change something on the player and do not understand why I can't change it, then I change it on my TV and it works.
A:AnswerNo. Its lack of streaming ability was the primary reason I bought this unit. I have a top of the line smart TV, and therefore I do not need another streaming device in my installation.
