“I bought my lifeproof case in March, I just did a water test and it failed, I inspected the case and the yellow gasket is missing, does this fall under the warranty? Does Best Buy give me a new one if this is true?”

The yellow gasket is a piece that screws in to keep your headphone jack dry. Screwing and unscrewing may cause looseness if it's done a lot. If you've just purchased your case and it's missing the piece, I would return it. However, if you've had your case and not remembered to keep the part screwed in tight I doubt it would be covered under warranty.
