The Fre has a screen protector, a clear plastic cover built into the case that protects the screen. The Nuud does not, the case forms a seal around the screen.
I've been using the Fre on my Galaxy S4 for almost a week, and I'm very unhappy with the sound quality.

The fre' case has a screen cover on the front half and the nuud case does not. Yes, I believe there is a belt clip available as well as an armband clip for exercising. If Best Buy doesn't have either of these, you can order them through the Lifeproof website.

the fre is a full case that covers the glass, the nuud you need a screen protector for your glass because the glass is exposed.
