“Is the case dual layer, rubber and plastic how an otter box would be?”

• I had minimal hands on with this, as I HATED the case. It distorted my screen something fierce. I don't recall a dual layer. There was a couple spots of rubber inside, but it was mostly plastic.

• No, it does not have the rubber outer layer, which makes it very slippery. I honestly prefer the otter box or body glove. And you need to use the included adapter to plug in headphones. Kind of a pain.

• More or less yes. I like the case more than any otterboxes I have had. I feel like it give more protection than a commuter case, but is less bulky than their defender case.
