Is the headphone adapter a pain? I'm considering LifeProof but I use head phones all the time. Is the headphone adaptor a pain in the butt? Seems like it would be but let's see what you experienced folks say. Thanks.

It took some getting used to at first. After the initial change it becomes a non issue. Like everything else you just get used to it. The "inconvenience" is well worth the protection.

If you're using the same size plug as the apple ear buds, you won't even need the adapter that comes with the LifeProof case.

Not a real pain unless you plug your headphones in and out numerous times during the day. I typically only use the headphones when i work out or am riding the metro though.

Not a pain. Have to unscrew jack every time but definitely not painful. The cord with lifeproof still allows waterproof ability as well

It's a LITTLE bit of a pain. I've used LifeProof cases since the first version, and I think it's still worth it for the water proof nature of it. If it use the Apple earbuds, you don;t need the adaptor. If you're always plugging in and taking out your phones, you MAY NOT WANT a waterproof case - they ALL will require a screw-in adaptor. An option would be bluetooth phones.
