I have had several lifeproofs these past years and the sound has usually been an issue. Sometimes its okay. However, I often get the complaint that I can’t be heard well. It can get annoying if I'm speaking to customer service. I usually have to remove the case and then I’m told, “now I can hear you!” I currently have an iphone 7 plus with lifeproof cover. I still have purchased lifeproof because my phone doesn't ever have a scratch; very well protected!

Kind of. But the point of the case is for it to be completely waterproof. So you gotta understand the construction behind the case. So again, it kinda distorts the sound but it's not bad

The cover does not distort my speaker. I've had it for 3 weeks. So far so good.

No it does not distort the sound, in my opinion. I use often to listen to music. It's a great case. Just expensive.

I can hear my audio just fine out of the Lifeproof speakers. No distortion issues for me.

It doesn't distort the speaker. Honestly, I hear better with this phone and case then my iPhone 5s and life proof case.
