• The case is definitely better it has a hard frame around the screen and a scratch protector so that the screen feels more natural, plus you don't hear the plastic film as you type as you would with the original as it is not adhered to the screen it moves slightly with every touch of the screen

• The rubber on the outside of mine started peeling within a few months of owning it. Other's experiences may vary, maybe I'm a little rougher with it, but I felt it wasn't very lifeproof for me.
