I have had this case for over 2 years and it is waterproof!

Yes, it is well sealed. I personally wouldn’t recommend testing anything in water unless those are the direction of use, but it can and has withstood an accident involving liquids and full immersion into a body of water. It says it can be used underwater, but I’d play it safe unless you are into extreme sports, then testing the limits of anything is your thing, go right ahead. I think it could endure and withstand anything you throw at it even if you are throwing the phone.
