IS the edge in this phone case purple or is it clear? null

Both. It has purple rubber around the outside, but if you look at the phone straight on you can see through the edges.

It is purple but they have other colors available including clear

They have several different ones the one that I have is actually black

Around the screen, and on the back of the phone the cover is clear, transparent and hard. The sides of my case are black, rubbery material (to absorb impact).

Around the side is purple and inside by the phone is as well.
