• Don’t think it would work with other brand plus the color will not match.

• You would need a separate type of controller such as an Alexa or Google Home. Through that you can sync such devices for voice commands. In terms of application grouping HomeKit is an example of such.

• LIFX strips will only work with other LIFX strips. They will not work with other brands.

• From what I have seen, you can't connect Lifx light strips to a strip from a different company. However, you CAN get all of your light strips set u ok and have them on the same wifi so that your smart home apps can be used to operate them.
