“What type of modem would work with Centurylink I am currently using a Westtel modem/router to run this router. Is there a such thing as a modem that can connect to this router thru wi fi? I would like to place the router in the center of the house and my phone line, where the modem is, is at one end of the house. Also which modem would work best for this type of router.”

I'm using a Comcast Gigabyte Modem. This router has no problem working with this router. No drops, etc.

Please try again later.Your best bet in this situation is to either utilize a powerline ethernet adapter, to faciliate the connectivity between your modem and router, allowing you to relocate your existing router to a more preferred location.... or to purchase and install a wireless range extender to get the enhanced coverage that you would gain by relocating the existing router.
