I'm using a Comcast Gigabyte Modem. This router has no problem working with this router. No drops, etc.

Please try again later.Your best bet in this situation is to either utilize a powerline ethernet adapter, to faciliate the connectivity between your modem and router, allowing you to relocate your existing router to a more preferred location.... or to purchase and install a wireless range extender to get the enhanced coverage that you would gain by relocating the existing router.
