“Can this router be used with AT&T Uverse internet if we disable the wi-fi on their Modem/Router Our home is one floor and 1800 Sq feet - should this router work?”

Mine works, even without disabling the AT&T device. I have not gotten around to disablling it yet, but I will call them as the signal's power is split.

I have DSL router/modem that was not adequate. So I disabled the wifi on it and hooked up the EA7500 using the LAN port and works great You should be able to do the same. Used the SMART setup just fine Created it's on subnet

Yes we have charter and unhooked and replaced with this

I don't see why not. There's no need to disable wifi on the modem/ router from your provider. The Linsys, or any other wireless router you connect will simply add it's own networks you can connect to by selecting them on your device.
