Version 2 has been out for a while and when ordering online from Best Buy or amazon there doesn’t seem to be anyway to tell which version you’ll be getting. My suggestion if you’re able, would be to go a bestbuy store and check the items on the shelf. Version 2 has the quad core processor and 2 usb 3.0 hookups and those features are clearly marked on the box. Not the best or easiest way to get the newest one, but it’s what I had to do to ensure I got what I wanted
