• This router does have FTP capability. It has 2 usb ports on the back. I use it as a backup in case I forget my external HDD at work.

• Absolutely yes, That's one of the bonuses of buying a great high technology Router as long as you buy this Ea9500 Max Stream Wi-Fi, it must be a Ea 9500 do not buy it from any other store but Bestbuy because I've read reviews complaining about reconditioned Ea9500 on sale from websites. You'll love the freedom of doing much more then what you want.
