• Hi, Marci. The Linksys RE6300 will allow you to extend your router’s wireless network. However, it is recommended to place the extender midway between the router, and the area without wireless connection, and ensure that it should get at least 50% of the connection from the router.

• Yes, I placed in a area where it was extremely low and always had 1 to 0 bars and it now has full bars! Works great! Go for it! If it doesn’t work take it back.
