• Probably not or at least not to well. I loose signal about 12 to 15' out on my deck

• It really depends on your main wifi router. The instructions say to install it about halfway between the maximum distance of your main router and the zone without coverage. If you have a reasonable place (not exposed to the weather) to plug it in about halfway between your out building and the main wifi router, it will probably work fine. If you have zero signal in the out building, installing this in the building won't boost it at all.
