We bought this Product to extend Internet service to a detached garage about 150 feet away at the bottom of a hill from our house. The house has aluminum siding & the garage has vinyl siding. We put our router facing the window towards the garage and the extender in the garage on the wall facing the house. It has worked perfect for our needs, gets great service !

I cannot get the extender to work and have had absolutely no help from Best Buy. It will probably be returned and a bad rating for the store, not the item!

IF your barn is not far then it will work good. The extender should be at least 30 feet from you main wifi. If its too far then you'll have the same problem you have now, slow or lack of service. Hope this helps!
